Step 1: Sign In to Your Shop Account
To begin uploading products:
- Visit the TLG Trade website.
- Click on the Account icon.
- Sign in using your registered account details.
- Select the My Shop option.
This will take you to your shop management section, where you can manage your online store.
Step 2: Recharge Your Shop Account
Before uploading products, you need to ensure that your shop account has sufficient balance.
To recharge your account: - Under My Shop, select View.
- Navigate to the Recharge option.
- Enter the amount you would like to deposit into your shop account.
- Confirm the phone number you would like to use for payment.
- You will receive an M-Pesa payment prompt.
- Complete the payment process.
Once your payment is successful, your shop account balance will be updated.
Step 3: Select Your Shop Subscription
After successfully depositing funds: - Select the Subscription option.
- View your available wallet balance.
- Choose the subscription package that best suits your business needs.
- Click Subscribe Now.
Your subscription will determine the available features for managing your shop.
Once your subscription is active, you can proceed to upload your products.
Step 4: Access Product Upload
To add a new product: - Return to your shop by pressing Back to Shop.
- Select the Upload Product icon.
- You will be directed to the New Product Creation page.
The product creation process consists of four main sections: - Basic Information.
The first section requires you to provide important product details. Fill in the following information:
❖ Product Name: Enter a clear name that customers can easily understand. Example:
Instead of:
"Item 001"
Use:
"Wireless Bluetooth Headphones"
❖ Product Type: Select the appropriate product type.
❖ Category and Sub-category: Choose the category that best describes your product. This helps customers find your products easily when browsing TLG Trade.
❖ Product Class: Select the relevant product class.
❖ Subscription: Your subscription details will automatically appear based on the
subscription package you selected.
After completing this section, click Next - Pricing.
In the pricing section, enter the amount you will charge for your product. You include:
❖ Selling Price: The actual price customers will pay.
❖ Discount Price: This is the discounted amount of the product.
Example:
Selling Product Price: KES 550
Discount Price: KES 50

After completing pricing details, click Next - Media.
The media section allows you to showcase your product visually. Upload clear and professional
images that accurately represent your product. Recommended practices:

✅Include different product angles where possible.
You may also upload an image of the product packaging; however, the packaging image should not be used as the main feature image.

TLG Trade allows the use of AI-generated product images as long as they are not misleading or labeled as stock images. To maintain trust between sellers and customers:
● Images must accurately represent the product being sold.
● TLG Trade reserves the right to review and flag images that do not meet credibility
standards.
● Misleading images may affect product approval and customer trust.
After uploading your images, select your preferred feature image click Next - Description.
A good product description helps customers understand what they are purchasing. You can:
❖ Write Your Own Description, Include details such as product features, size, color, benefits, specifications, and usage information.
❖ Use the AI Product Description Feature
TLG Trade provides an AI feature that can generate a product description based on the image you uploaded. This helps sellers create professional product descriptions faster. Review the generated description and make any necessary adjustments before publishing.
Step 5: Upload Your Product
After completing all sections:
● Review your product information.
● Confirm your images.
● Check your pricing.
● Ensure your description is accurate.
Click Upload
Congratulations! Your product has successfully been added to your TLG Trade shop. Customers can now discover your products through the platform.
